Do I need to live in the US to form an LLC?
No. NoNoVAT is built for entrepreneurs living outside the United States. All you need is a valid ID and a proof of address less than 3 months old. If you are a US citizen or resident, the process is different: get in touch.
Wyoming or New Mexico: which one?
Wyoming ($999, then $359/yr) is the best known and most bank-friendly, with an annual report we handle for you. New Mexico ($949, then $259/yr) is cheaper and has no annual report. The onboarding recommends one or the other based on your business.
Why sign the SS-4 by hand?
The SS-4 is the EIN application form, and the IRS rejects electronic signatures. We send it to you pre-filled: print it, sign it with a pen and send us a photo or scan. Two minutes, no post office.

Which bank can I open without an SSN?
Opening your Mercury US account is included in your formation: we prepare the application with your LLC and EIN, no US social security number needed. Need a European IBAN to receive euros? Wise option for $99.
What does the Stripe setup include?
For $149, we help you create and configure your Stripe or PayPal account in your LLC’s name: company details, EIN, payout account and identity checks. You get paid in dollars as soon as the account is approved.

What does yearly compliance include?
From year 2: registered agent, US address, mail scans and, in Wyoming, the state annual report. $359/yr in Wyoming, $259/yr in New Mexico. You get notified 60 and 15 days before each renewal.
With an LLC, do I stop paying taxes?
Not necessarily: your LLC is often taxable in your country of residence. NoNoVAT does not provide tax advice, but can connect you with a partner tax advisor.
Can I change agents later?
Yes. You can request the transfer of your registered agent and address at any time from your client area. It’s free and handled within 15 days.
Are the documents in French?
Official documents (Articles of Organization, Operating Agreement, EIN letter) are in English: that’s US law. In your client area, each document comes with an explanation in French or English: what it’s for and when to use it.
